Michael Misailidis (1930-2022), was the founder of the company providing hospital services, which manages the clinic ZOODOCHOS PIGI. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, worked as a rural doctor for three years in Agios Georgios Sykousis and obtained the title of Cardiology specialty at the "RED CROSS" hospital.
He worked as a Cardiologist in Chios from 1967 until 2002. In the mid-80s, he founded a hospital services company which took over the management of the private clinic "Ag. Anargyroi" until 2014 and the private clinic "ZOODOCHOS PIGI" from 2014.
Michael Misailidis offered important primary and secondary care services, for more than 50 years, to the citizens of Chios, working with most Chios doctors of his generation, but also many younger ones, while at the same time offering jobs to doctors and paramedical staff, even in a period of economic crisis.
He was, among others, President of the Medical Association of Chios and participated in the boards of directors of the Z. MICHALINOS Nursing Home of Chios, the General Hospital of Chios, the Regional Department of Chios of the Hellenic Red Cross and the London Committee.
